We were recently commissioned to produce a limited edition print run of 10 commemorative mugs for Yo-Yo Kitchen, London's finest Japanese sushi bar and delhi. Yo-Yo owner and chef Yoichi initially trained at the prestigious Ginza Asta, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Japan. He moved to London in 1995 and worked at various Japanese restaurants, including Nobu in Park Lane. There, he made sushi for the stars and if you look above the counter in the shop, you will see his chefs’ knives signed by Robert De Niro, Madonna, Nobu and a hat signed by Kylie Minogue.

The world of technology, media and home entertainment is developing at a frighteningly fast pace. Humans, however, remain pretty much the same...
It always amuses me when people fall asleep in front of the TV. I don't see technological advances thwarting that! So....i decided I'd have a vegetable patch in my garden this year. I bought the little baby plant s and seeds,,,sowed them neatly in lines...watered them and waited for the bumper harvest. Unfortunately, I hadn't accounted for the local slug population....DECIMATED..!!
Up for grabs are our new personalised football/rugby team mugs...with your name (or any wording, company name and even logo) printed onto the billboards! As well as the ones shown, we can do most team colours to suit your requirements...from Barcelona to the local pub team....and a minimum print run of one!
Please use the contact page if you would like to enquire our mugs! I like messing around with perspective....it provides opportunities for some great unexpected consequences! I wasn't sure if this would work...whether the caddy might look too small. I think i got away with it though....just about..
This drawing was based on my experience of cycling up a road in Ambleside known locally as 'The Struggle'. Its so steep that there were times when i was barely moving! Never mind Cat-Rabbit...more like Tortoise-Snail...
I've always liked the drama of the saying that 'the hunter becomes the hunted..'. This cartoon is a mixture of that and my penchant for chocolate! I like the idea that there could be something slightly sinister lurking beneath the water surface (we never find out what it is) using chocolate to try and bait the fisherman.
I'm working on a little football animation at the mo. I'm doing it in the style of traditional hand drawn
animation.. something I love, but which seems to be dying out in favour of the incredible CGI animation that's coming out these days. Here's my first very crude pencil test with a few of the key frames just to see if it might work out. |
Cartoon BlogThis blog is a crashpad for some of my latest cartoons, doodles and ideas. Some of this may be fairly random stuff - don't expect everything on here to make sense! Archives
